    Like most products from QNAP, the TS-239 Pro offers a wide variety of common features, including iTunes and UPnP AV/DLNA media serving, AD/NT domain authentication, LAMP webserving, and support for NFS, AFP and SMB network file systems.  Also included is support for QNAS' package manager (QPKG) which allows easy installation of third party software such as Wordpress and Squeezecenter.

    The TS-239 also supports multiple RAID configurations, offering such options as RAID 0/1, JBOD, Online RAID Capacity Expansion and Online RAID Level Migration.  The hot-swap design also allows a bad drive to be replaced without powering down the server, ensuring that the data remains available through many hardware difficulties.
