Linksys NMH405
Released through Cisco's Linksys brand, the NMH405 is a two bay NAS system. Intended largely to serve as a media hub, the NHM405 is configured accordingly. The NMH405 is powered by 128 MB of RAM and two separate Flash memories, one 64 MB, the other 512 KB.
Unlike many NAS systems out there which require the user to install both drives, the NMH405 comes with a 500 GB drive pre-installed. An otherwise identical model, the NHM410, instead provides a full 1 TB drive.

The interface for the NMH405 is relatively simple, intended more for streamlined use than excessive flexibility. This works well for the targeted market, since the NMH405 is intended more for mainstream consumers instead of hard core technical people. The built in browsers are easy to navigate, making locating and playing the right media files simple.
As with most NAS systems out there, the NMH405 does provide RAID support. As a two drive system, its RAID options are necessarily limited, in this case only supporting either JBOD or RAID 1.
