Cisco Linksys NAS200

    The Cisco Linksys NAS200 comes with two SATA drive bays. The system has a 10/100 Ethernet Port, 2 USB Ports for connecting Flash or External USB Drives. An important note: The USB Ports support FAT/FAT32 in read and write mode and read-only mode for NTFS.

    This product features four types of disk configurations to meet your needs. These are: 1) combining both drives as one which maximizes storage capacity, 2) two separate drives, 3) disk-to-disk mirroring for redundancy, and 4) drive striping for maximum speed. Username and password security is used for system administration and user file access.

    Software installation is simple and intuitive using the supplied install CD- ROM. System administration is via a web interface that configures networking and other features. For example, this NAS device has a built-in download manager which manages download tasks for HTTP or FTP which means the system will perform downloads independently from the PC.

    Other key features of this system are UPnP certification for discovery and AV, a DLNA 1.5 compatible Media Server, a free one year DDNS service for remote access. Bundled with the system is a PC client which will allow for USB drive mounting and mapping and backup software.
